A farewell to legs

I woud like to tell my friends and peers in the digital and online media class that this has been a wonderful semester. I have enjoyed getting to know my fellow classmates through each of your blogs.

Getting to see your interest here on earth has given me insight into the people of earth and a look into what they are passionate about. I have also learned so much about each of those passions.

I am using all of the blogs from this MC 4381 class as part of my research to learn more about this planet. These blogs will be shared to various galaxies and its contents will serve as sources of knowlege and expertise of the subjects covered.

The students of the class will be instrumental in understanding earth from the intimate perspective of the people who live in it rather than text books full of information that everyone from here to the Shipoopi quasar already knows. These blogs give other planets real insight to life on this planet.

Thank you for inspiring the creativity I needed to creat this blog and find a voice as a writer. It’s been hard adjusting to the senstivities of Earth. I wish all of you the best of luck and don’t be afraid to approach aliens when the come –  They might accept your résumé!

It’s probably best that this class was conducted online since many of you may not be able to handle seeing me in my alien body. In fact, my face  and body are so grotesque to the human eye it actually causes some people’s eyes to explode.

If any of you are brave and still think you can stomach seeing  a photo of me just scroll down!

A peek into politics

I won’t bore you with the same old stuff about the elections you’ve had to hear about the last several months. Instead, I’ll let me good friend Pablo do it. He’s one of the cooler Earthicans I’ve met since landing here. He watched the Democratic debates and whipped up a quick article for your guys to check out.

Take the time to educate yourself on the elections and the candidates. These things are important to your duty as a free citizen in your particular quadrant of the planet.

Regardless of whether you’re into politics, I can assure you that even as an extra terrestrial that has seen some pretty insane things lurking in the cosmos, I’ve never witnessed such a bizarre election on both sides of the aisle. It’s an interesting circus guaranteed to entertain people of all ages. It gets awkward.

Plastic Earth

Humankind are a fascinating species. Their ability to adapt to nearly any environment on Earth is a testament to the advanced problem-solving skills humans possess. Unfortunately, humans create settlements and exhaust resources to depletion.

The ingenuity humans possess has never been able to outpace the destruction it creates from simply inhabiting an area. Now, the planet is saturated with waste and can only handle little more stress to its already delicate temperament.

While the problem of waste is quite severe, group of researchers at Kyoto University in Japan have created an ingenious solution to take a bite out of the problem. They found a way for Earth to eat it’s way out of the mess people created – with plastic-eating bacteria.

These are not too unlike the gargantuan rock-consuming slugs of Omicron Persei 8. With the exception of size and diet, the Omicron slugs and Earth bacteria share similar biological qualities.

The scientists are using genetic engineering to accelerate the rate of the digestion for the bacteria in order to create a viable solution to the plastic waste problem on Earth. The gallery below contains a conceptual illustration of the bacteria, as well as the alien slugs. I certainly couldn’t bring them up and not show you what they look like, right?

Hearts and Black Holes

No matter how far you travel into the loneliness of space, you’d be hard pressed to find another form of life that doesn’t share the concept of family. Even the most fierce conquerors of the cosmos have significant others and offspring for which they long for when they are away.

I’ve found myself longing for the family that I left behind long ago when I set off on this journey to explore space. I miss frolicing throught the rings of Saturn with my love. I miss the light of all 4 moon lights reflecting off of her fourth eye. The weightlessness of space made her blue hair flow freely.

Everything is disappearing around me. All I can do is hope that the catastrophe that is my heart will burst to create a whole new existence where I can start a new and be whole again.

I can only hope that my love will return to me again like Halley’s comet swinging back around from its wide orbit.

“Fully Withheld”

As I get to know the way things work in this world, I feel as though I lose a grasp on what made mankind so great in the beginning of its evolution. The human race was doing so well, but it has an inherent instinct to turn on its own kind for the sake of survival. As humans became more advanced and form civilizations, mankind continued to become more cunning with its need to be in control to survive.

The ruling council of the United States of America of the western hemisphere is one of the greatest powers on this planet. It’s inhabitants are endowed with great freedom and are allowed to pursuit individual contentment. Yet, when you look at the written history American humans have immortalized into parchment, it’s clear that the winners of planetary conquest write the final word in shaping bygone times. Soon, this commonwealth will have an opportunity have some of its hidden history restored to them.

In 1963 these allied states’ ruling leader, John Fitzgerald Kennedy, was assassinated, possible by means of corruption. His murder was left unsolved by the very government he ran leaving encrypted questions about motives and those possibly involved. Many important files with pertinent details about his death have been withheld from the public. Secrets about possible corruption within the government stay buried, and countless theories of the truth find their way into the media still.

In just a couple Earth years, the government will possibly release this forsaken information on  October 2017. Albeit, there is a mandate to make this public to the planet, there is no guarantee that intelligence agencies won’t appeal to keep it all under wraps. What I know of civilizations from outside this solar system is truth and wisdom allows advanced life forms to prosper. To attempt to create and control a subservient race of beings will ensure upheaval and chaos to peace and order.

Hopefully, humankind will not befall the same fate as so many other worlds before it that used fear and ego to control and shelter its planet from the goings on of it’s authoritative leadership.

Perhaps, Earth will be able to redeem itself as a whole and regain the interest of other alien civilizations that have lost interest in this little blue world because of its egotistical nature. So, here’s to the truth, …because the truth is out there.
